Premise Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team in Maple Grove, MN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or RN.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, making follow-up phone calls, and maintaining patient records.
  • Conduct vital sign measurements, prepare treatment rooms, and clean and sterilize instruments.
  • Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) equipment and administer routine diagnostic tests.
  • Give injections or treatments and perform routine laboratory tests.
Requirements
  • National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health-approved organization or a certificate/diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed and passed.
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) certification with a "hands-on" evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor.
  • State Lab Certificate (NV only) and CMA certification required from a recognized certifying body.
  • Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
