About the Role

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a Sanitation Maintenance Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the breakroom and all restrooms, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning spills, and emptying trash.
  • Sweep and damp mop all floors on a daily basis, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures as needed, ensuring that all store systems are functioning properly.
  • Shovel and salt sidewalks as needed, maintaining a safe and accessible environment for customers and employees.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain company standards and programs for safety, fire prevention, and security, ensuring a secure and protected environment.
