We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Osceola County, FL. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to inmate patients in a correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
- Perform nursing services, such as obtaining vital signs, wound care, IV therapy, and collecting blood, urine, sputum, and stool specimens.
- Respond to emergencies in the facility and gather subjective and objective data from patients to ensure their needs are met.
- Accurately document all data obtained, treatments, specimens collected, and sent for processing.
- Administer all medications and record such on the medication administration record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Florida LPN license.
- Current hands-on CPR certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
This is a per diem position, and the physical demand requirements are medium. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties with a professional and cooperative work ethic.
