Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic CT Technician to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a CT Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Cat Scan equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Position patients to produce high-quality images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including pulling jackets, inputting/editing exams, and completing requisitions prior to setting films to be read.
- Record and maintain data on magnetic disc, tape, PACS, and logs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information.
- Participate in Quality Improvement and safety programs, contributing to a culture of excellence and patient safety.
- Texas Medical Board Certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT (R) Registration.
- Graduate of an approved program in Radiologic Technology (Associates degree or Vocational).
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to examine radiographs for evaluation techniques, positions, and other related qualities.
