Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work with our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including cameras and computers, to capture high-quality images.
- Analyze images to diagnose and treat medical conditions, including tumors, infections, and other diseases.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
- Associate's degree in nuclear medicine technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT, N).
- 2+ years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
