We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct therapy services to our clients, utilizing your expertise to implement comprehensive intervention techniques and promote independence.

**Responsibilities**

  • Implement evidence-based intervention techniques during therapy sessions, taking into account the unique characteristics and communication needs of each client.
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans for each client, ensuring accurate and effective treatment.
  • Complete weekly treatment notes and progress reports for each client, providing detailed insights into their progress.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to promote independence and support client progress.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Valid and active license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and observation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
