Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Salon Assistant/Apprentice at Amber Michelle Salon in Lakeside DFW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to TDLR regulations and standards.
  • Assist hair stylists with duties and services as instructed, utilizing excellent communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent relationship with clients to ensure return business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including shampooing, styling, and other services as requested.
  • Emphasize product benefits and assist clients in selecting retail products and services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and techniques.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and valid Texas cosmetology license.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings, with a strong commitment to punctuality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
