Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Network Solutions Engineer to oversee our network infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the robustness and efficiency of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Planning and Design: Develop and execute strategic network solutions.
    • Investigate emerging networking technologies.
    • Create a comprehensive roadmap for network infrastructure.
    • Architect and deploy innovative network solutions.
  • Network Monitoring: Ensure the security and reliability of the network infrastructure, including:
    • Oversee the security and performance of the corporate IP framework.
    • Generate and present performance metrics to management.
    • Continuously monitor network performance to meet service-level agreements.
    • Evaluate network performance and suggest enhancements.
  • Technology Support: Provide hands-on support for the company's networking technologies, including:
    • Management of WAN, LAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and voice infrastructure.
    • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing the corporate IP framework.
    • Establish and uphold standards for IP infrastructure.
    • Advise on vendor selection and solutions.
    • Oversee voice infrastructure management, including call routing.
    • Coordinate repairs and the retirement of outdated networking devices.
    • Contribute to project teams across the organization.
  • User Support: Deliver exceptional support to the user community:
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to the IP infrastructure.
    • Comply with corporate and departmental policies.
    • Ensure user satisfaction.
    • Participate in after-hours support as needed.
    • Perform additional IT-related tasks as required.
  • Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated on the latest networking and security best practices, advising the IT department on current technologies and leading the design of network security architecture.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate the creation and delivery of training programs to enhance network and telecommunications services.

Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience with core networking and WAN technologies, including MPLS and IP VPN.
  • Proficient with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience with wireless technologies and Layer 2 protocols.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto and Juniper networking equipment.
  • Strong background in dynamic routing protocols.
  • Experience with enterprise networking technologies and fiber channel switches.
