About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Seattle Children's. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative method with the patient and patient's family, significant others, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide safe, family-centered patient care using the Nursing Care Process.
  • May be required to provide supervision and delegation of tasks to Nurse Technicians, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Medical Assistants, Certified Nursing Assistants, and others as defined by the State Administrative Code.
  • Assist in meeting Seattle Children's strategic goals by incorporating the initiatives to support the strategic plans into the daily work.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Prior experience in a pediatric related healthcare setting, or a specific area of nursing, may be required for specific departments.
  • Current Washington State RN License, or other current state license that the RN is required to work in.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions at time of hire unless the incumbent possesses a current appropriate Life Support Education required for their practice area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Pediatric healthcare nursing experience.
Compensation and Benefits

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
