Join Our Team as a MIG Aluminum Welder

Position Overview

We are in search of a proficient MIG Aluminum Welder to contribute to our Ship to Shore Connector initiative. This role will primarily involve welding 3mm and 10mm aluminum plates, with a focus on mirror welding techniques.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in a shipyard environment
  • Expertise in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding
  • Skilled in welding aluminum materials
  • Familiarity with push-pull welding guns
  • Understanding of stringer bead welding
  • Ability to set up welding machines for aluminum
  • Knowledge of operating wire speeds of 500 or higher

Work Schedule

This position operates on two shifts:

  • 1st shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 2nd shift: 4:30 PM - 3 AM

Employees will work four days a week, with shifts lasting 10-12 hours. Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday.

Work Environment

This role is fully on-site and offers per diem for traveling employees.
