About the RoleAs a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Performing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Administering medications and completing treatments according to hospital policy
- Delegating tasks to non-licensed staff and providing education to patients and families
- Facilitating discharge plans and ensuring a smooth transition of care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience in an acute care setting - preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
