Job Title: Radiology Technician

RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join their team for a travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays and CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners
  • Develop and process radiographic images
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in radiology or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
