Occupational Therapist Opportunity

CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school district setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students succeed by providing individualized therapy programs and consulting with teachers and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students using standardized tests, clinical observations, and medical reports to determine the need for therapy intervention.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs for qualifying students.
  • Document screenings, evaluations, and progress reports as required.
  • Provide consultation with classroom teachers and other school staff regarding students' optional function in the school environment.
  • Adapt, fabricate, and maintain specialized equipment required for therapy services or student needs.
  • Investigate and recommend types of equipment available to meet student needs, funding sources, and vendor options.
  • Provide in-service training to teachers and other school personnel as needed.
Requirements:
  • Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of National Certification Examination for O.T.R.
  • 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience.
  • Current state licensure and ESA Certificate through OSPI.
