Asphalt Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Laborer, Handroller to join our team at Grace Pacific Corp. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

• Shovel and spread asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
• Clean the job site using sweepers and hand tools to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist the spreader operator with cleaning and maintenance of the spreader(s).
• Perform duties in other classifications as needed, utilizing rakes, shovels, mobile brooms, road sweepers, tamper plates, and busters.
• Conduct vehicle checks prior to driving and complete vehicle checklists to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Company safety policies and regulations.

• Ability to read, write, and complete equipment reports.
• Valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearances within the initial 90-day introductory period and maintain eligibility for all clearances.

We anticipate hiring for projects on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai as work becomes available. Selected candidates will be asked to join the Operating Engineer's union prior to starting work.
