As a Day Shift Delivery Vehicle Driver, your daily responsibilities will likely include:

  • Promoting a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
  • Protecting company assets, including donated items
  • Maintaining records such as Vehicle Logs and daily Trip Sheets
  • Providing basic oversight for assigned Truck Helpers
  • Reporting any mechanical issues encountered with vehicles
  • Communicating delays, accidents, or other transportation situations to headquarters
  • Loading and unloading trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers
  • Maintaining effective communication with headquarters
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles
  • Inspecting truck equipment and supplies (such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water)
  • Performing additional duties as required by business needs

  • Ability to learn and adapt to evolving technological needs
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • Valid CDL License
  • Must be at least 25 years old
  • Minimum of 6 to 12 months of commercial truck driving experience
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License (Class C), with a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance standards
  • Ability to read operating and safety instructions
  • Proficiency in using a dolly, pallet jack, and lift gate
  • Flexible work schedule and regular attendance are essential
  • Availability to work weekends
