About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dental assistant to join our team at Steamboat Parkway Dental Care, a supported office of Heartland Dental. As a dental assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays, as well as prepare and dispense dental materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other team members to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Dental assisting certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by state dental practice act
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification
