An Aircraft Fueling Specialist is tasked with the fueling and maintenance of aircraft, ensuring the safe and effective operation of fueling equipment.
- Conduct fueling and de-fueling operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Maintain precise records of fuel transactions.

- Keep fueling equipment in optimal condition.
- Ensure proper loading and distribution of fuel.
- Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts for aircraft fueling.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities are essential to the role, in addition to those previously mentioned. Tasks may be performed in varying weather conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. Duties are carried out both indoors and outdoors, near stationary and moving aircraft.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate effectively.
- Frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Operate company vehicles safely.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations related to weight, measurement, and volume.
- Communicate clearly in English with colleagues in person, via telephone, radio, and in writing for job duties and safety purposes.
- Wear the prescribed uniform and insignia.
- Report to work consistently and punctually.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma or GED; three to six months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug screenings, and maintain eligibility for an airport security badge, along with being insurable under the company's insurance policies.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
- Preferred knowledge of fueling and de-fueling procedures for various aircraft, as well as de-icing and fueling procedures for ground equipment.
- A valid state driver's license.
- Successful completion of the Company's PST program.
- Commercial Driver License (for HI locations).
