Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) entities. As a key member of our team, you will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
  • Prepare annual operating budgets for PSH projects and conduct monthly statement reviews and cash flow forecasting with Property Managers.
  • Collaborate with the Grants, Compliance, and IT teams to support data maintenance and improve data reporting processes.
  • Assist with grant management, including application support, reporting, billing, and regulatory reviews.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, nonprofit regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • 4+ years of financial management experience.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
