We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse to join our team at Amerita. As an Infusion Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of our patients, adhering to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in both Infusion nursing services, pharmacy services, and state laws and regulations.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, collaborating with pharmacy staff, physicians, and patients to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Assess patients and establish plans of care, managing vascular access devices and educating patients and caregivers on infusion therapy.
- Evaluate progress toward goals and make recommendations to physicians for changes in the plan of care based on patient needs.
- Coordinate nursing care with home health and other community agencies as indicated.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Flexible schedule with the availability to work a variety of shift models.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
