About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for providing individualized, safe, and efficient patient care using imaging modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to achieve the best outcomes for patients and the organization.
  • Perform invasive procedures in concert with cardiologists or radiologists, applying principles of radiation protection and exercising professional judgment.
  • Provide patient care essential to procedures, recognizing patient conditions and taking immediate action to initiate life support measures.
  • Assess and implement patient care within the scope of education and/or licensure, in concert with cardiologists or radiologists.
  • Document patient care in the health record according to department standards.
Requirements
  • Accredited Cardiovascular or Radiologic Technology program required, or a combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience with clinical electrophysiology preferred.
  • CVTs with only on-the-job training must have a minimum of two years of interventional cardiovascular hospital experience.
  • Proficiency with electrogram interpretation, programmed electrical stimulation, and intracardiac echo preferred.
  • ARRT - Radiography, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist required.
