Role Summary
The Leading Teacher Literacy Range 3 is a key leadership position within the school, responsible for driving improvements in literacy and numeracy outcomes for students. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced teacher who can lead and manage a team of educators to achieve school-wide goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to literacy and numeracy
- Develop and implement effective literacy and numeracy programs and strategies
- Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their instructional practices
- Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of literacy and numeracy programs and make data-driven decisions
- Develop and manage budgets and resources to support literacy and numeracy initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with parents and the community to promote literacy and numeracy outcomes
Requirements
- Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Experience in leading and managing teams of educators
- Strong knowledge of literacy and numeracy pedagogy and curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other leaders and educators
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with other leaders and educators to achieve school-wide goals.
