About the Role
Aebi Schmidt North America is seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a critical role in the production of our high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and Fabrication
- Assemble component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment.
- Quality Control
- Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components.
- Attaches hardware and seals assembly.
- Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components.
- Testing and Inspection
- Calibrates unit according to specification.
- Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.
- Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Reports lot codes of components used in assemblies, and recording assemblies built.
- Enters information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
Requirements
- Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Skills and Experience
- Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties.
- Perform specialized functions in the assembly of electrical or electro-mechanical parts, assembly groups and arrangements to build primary truck products or paint equipment components.
- Work with electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches or written/verbal directions.
