We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced veterinary surgical technician to join our dynamic team at Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care. As a leader in veterinary surgery, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of board-certified surgeons and surgical interns and residents.

About the Role

As a veterinary surgical technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality surgical nursing care to our patients. This includes diagnostics, anesthesia administration and monitoring, treatments, admitting and discharging patients, surgical assisting, post-op care and recovery, and more. Experience in anesthesia and surgery is preferred, as is flexibility.

Requirements

Veterinary technician license or certification is preferred. Veterinary assistants with advanced skills in surgery may also be considered.
