Job Summary:
Archway Physician Recruitment is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our team as an Academic Faculty Member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct inpatient care to patients with complex psychiatric needs
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team at an inpatient site, including psychiatry residents, internal medicine and family medicine residents, medical students, social workers, nurses, and recreation therapists
- Develop and maintain a professional educational environment conducive to educating learners
- Participate in scholarly activity, faculty development, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, and didactics
- Collaborate with colleagues to advance the department's educational mission and support the growth and development of faculty members
Requirements:
- MD or equivalent degree
- State of Michigan licensed or eligible
- Board certified/Board eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Geriatric Psychiatry
