Key Responsibilities:
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will:
- Provide daily care for residents in collaboration with the Unit Manager, under the supervision of the RN and Physician.
- Respond promptly to resident and family needs within the scope of practice.
- Oversee the activities of CNAs and Ward Clerks on the unit.
- Utilize nursing processes and judgment to prioritize and deliver quality direct resident care.
- Administer standard nursing treatments and medications, monitoring residents for effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to update Care Plans and address any concerns.
- Document vital signs, treatments administered, and resident responses accurately.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Committed to delivering extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with all staff members.
- Possess a cooperative spirit and enthusiasm to promote rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
