Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition and provide individualized care
- Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Teach patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans
As a RN Resident at HCA Florida Northside Hospital, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in your role. Our program includes:
- Advanced clinical training in a specialty area
- Monthly educational sessions
- Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor
- Measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations
- Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
