About the Opportunity

The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine is seeking a full-time academic Surgical Pathologist with emphasis on Gynecological and Genitourinary Pathology to join our exceptional faculty.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in areas of oncologic and non-oncologic surgical pathology
  • Support the mission of the Department as well as other clinical departments such as Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Surgical Oncology and The University of Illinois Cancer Center
  • Participate in medical education and institutional, regional, and national conferences
  • Collaborate with the Departments of Surgical Oncology, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology on research opportunities
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Qualify for a license to practice medicine in Illinois
  • Board certification in Anatomic Pathology
  • Fellowship training in Gynecologic Pathology/Oncologic Surgical Pathology desired
