About the Role:
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process. Your expertise will ensure the safe arrival of babies into the world.
Responsibilities:
- Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assess progress during labor, and assist with pain management techniques.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions.
- Educate and support mothers and their families during the postpartum period, providing breastfeeding assistance, newborn care instruction, and emotional support for the transition to parenthood.
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
