About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Nautica. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager to develop and execute action plans to achieve sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong understanding of our products and services, and providing excellent customer service to drive sales and loyalty.
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure that team members are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring that all visual merchandising and display standards are met.
- Stay up-to-date on all aspects of the business, including sales trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar volume, apparel business.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
- Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to travel to other store locations as needed.
