Position Title: Project Coordinator I-III

Compensation Range: $20.00 to $34.56 per hour (Based on Experience)

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, year-round

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the execution and management of various initiatives aimed at fulfilling project objectives and meeting funding requirements. This position requires a collaborative mindset, innovative thinking, and exceptional communication and organizational capabilities. The Project Coordinator will serve as a key liaison among stakeholders, including local, regional, and state partners, as well as community members, necessitating a high degree of professionalism and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly update the Project Manager or Program Director on project progress, including any management challenges and activities.
  • Develop necessary project documentation and programming.
  • Organize and lead meetings related to project development and ongoing operations.
  • Collaborate professionally with all partners and agencies involved in the project to ensure efficient and successful outcomes.
  • Track and report all project-related information and data in compliance with organizational and funder requirements; coordinate with IT for necessary technological support.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures as an employee and supervisor, including conducting staff evaluations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Level I: Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Level II (in addition to Level I):

  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with project-based work or administration of grant-funded programs is preferred.

Level III (in addition to Level II):

  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Supervisory experience of project staff is required.
  • Responsible for project budget management in accordance with organizational policies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal communication principles and practices.
  • Standard office practices and equipment.
  • Proficient in computer operations relevant to the position, including internet and cloud-based systems.
  • General accounting principles related to budget management.
  • Research, analysis, and report writing techniques.

Abilities:

  • Interact sensitively with diverse populations.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Operate standard office equipment.
