Job Title: Chapel Musician and Worship Leader

About the Position: The LADGOV CORPORATION is seeking a skilled musician to serve as the Director of Music/Accompanist at our NAS Corpus Christi location. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead worship services, provide accompaniment, and coordinate musical programs.

Salary Information: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead Protestant worship services, providing musical direction and accompaniment.
  • Coordinate with the officiating chaplain or CRMP to select music for worship services.
  • Provide piano accompaniment for Wednesday Protestant Services and Special Services.
  • Rehearse with musicians and vocalists before each service.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in planning, directing, teaching, leading, and supporting a religious musical program in a church environment.
  • An Associate's degree in Music or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • The ability to sight read music, play contemporary protestant worship/praise music on a piano, and direct other musicians and vocalists in four-part musical scores.
