About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a Registered Nurse in our NICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families in the NICU
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage the physical and emotional needs of critically ill newborns
  • Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California
  • 1 year of experience in a NICU or pediatric intensive care unit
  • Current NRP certification
