This role involves the delegation of care responsibilities to other nursing staff based on their qualifications and job roles. The Clinical Nurse Specialist plays a vital role in advancing the mission and objectives of the healthcare facility and adheres to the standards set by relevant regulatory bodies.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Active nursing license in the state of practice.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within one month of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within one year of hire.
Work Environment: This position is based in a healthcare facility.
Work Schedule: Day shifts are expected.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.
Employment Type: Casual/PRN.
