Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipper and Receiver to join our team at Harco Fittings, a member of the IPEX group of companies. This role is based in our facility in Bellingham, WA and reports to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order selectors, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and situations as they arise, notifying appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Applicant must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Great teammate with a proven track record to contribute to and cultivate a positive work environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 70 lbs.
  • The use of hand tools.
