Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate at our Murfreesboro, Tennessee location. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and working effectively with a team to achieve sales and work goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive shopping experience for customers by being aware of company service standards and having a positive attitude.
  • Promote company rewards programs and other business initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation, ensuring stock is well-arranged and merchandised properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas within the store.
  • Develop and maintain necessary product knowledge and fitting skills.
  • Maintain awareness of Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff members.

Requirements:

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with external contacts (primarily customers) and with all levels of employees.
  • Basic communication (both verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills.
  • Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
  • Basic knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.
