Labor and Delivery Director

We are seeking an exceptional Labor and Delivery Director to lead our team at Tenet Massachusetts. With a strong background in nursing leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Labor and Delivery team, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and education programs that promote evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
- Maintain expertise in labor and delivery nursing practices, staying up-to-date on the latest research and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning within the department.
Requirements:
- 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability, and hospital operational ability.
- Able to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
