Process Safety Management Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated PSM Engineer to join a dynamic team within the chemical manufacturing sector. This role will be integral to ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including another PSM Engineer, Process Engineers, and a Senior Process Engineer.
- Report directly to the Process Safety Manager, under the guidance of the Director of Safety.
- Lead and manage Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
- Conduct Facility Siting Studies and enhance written Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) and PSM documentation.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, approximately every five weeks.
This position requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM, following a 9/80 schedule.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Safety Management.
- Experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Proficient in utilizing IPRISM Relief Device Software.
- Experience in facilitating PHAs and conducting training for field personnel.
- Strong background in Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation.
- Experience in managing Management of Change (MOC) programs and reviewing MOCs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
