About the Role

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Troon Golf. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and load them into the dish machine
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are ready for use
  • Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour to maintain optimal cleaning performance
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand, using the appropriate cleaning solutions
  • Remove trash and garbage from the dishroom and dispose of it in the designated dumpster
  • Set up or break down the dishwashing area as needed, ensuring it remains clean and organized
  • Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions, as required
  • Sweep and mop the floors in the dishroom, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Remove any spills or messes from the kitchen floors, ensuring they remain dry and slip-free
  • Comply with all Department of Health regulations and guidelines for food service sanitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Requirements
  • Understanding of safety and sanitation procedures
  • Dependability and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions
