As a Neonatal Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing neonates' health status, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed. You will also collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families. Additionally, you will perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development. Furthermore, you will educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • • Current RN license
    • BLS certification, with additional certifications as required by the facility
    • At least two years of recent experience in Neonatal Nursing
    • Excellent communication and adaptability skills
