Culinary Specialist

ILTexas is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting 100 international students at our flagship campus with nutritious meals and a taste of home.

As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for the security of food and supplies, supervising storage and care, and preparing and serving menus at the school. You will also be responsible for cleaning kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas, as well as maintaining knowledgeable sanitation procedures.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in cooking, preferably with Asian cuisine expertise. The ideal candidate will have a related certificate and a Servsafe Manager Certificate. Experience working with diverse populations and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for the security of food and supplies
• Supervise storage and care of foods and supplies
• Help prepare and serve menus at the school
• Clean kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas
• Maintain knowledgeable sanitation procedures
