Senior Civil Engineer Manager

SOLTESZ is a leading land development engineering firm in the Washington DC metro area, specializing in civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning, environmental science, and surveying. We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team in Waldorf, MD.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in land development design, preferably in Southern Maryland. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, including client relations, project financials, profitability, and client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and delegation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be able to nurture and grow client relationships and deliver quality service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Client management and project management
- Development and preparation of proposals to clients
- Providing excellent and responsive client service
- Maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and invoicing
- Providing technical expertise to assist clients in achieving their development goals
- Representing clients throughout key milestones in their projects
- Business development and marketing of the firm
- Leadership, mentoring, and development of staff
- Staff supervision, quality control of civil/site designs, workload and staff resource planning
- Overseeing employee performance and providing regular feedback and recognition
- Working with senior leadership to accomplish company goals
