Job Overview:

Impact of the Role:
Under general supervision, you will conduct comprehensive systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of highly complex applications that necessitate a deep understanding of both administrative and technical skills.

Participate in all phases of system development, focusing on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E). Apply advanced business or technical principles and methods to resolve intricate technical challenges, delivering automated engineering solutions.

Prepare and present briefings as required, potentially serving as Task Leader. Ensure the quality and services delivered for specific tasks while analyzing customer requirements and high-level network architectures to develop tailored specifications. Manage multiple projects concurrently from design through implementation.

Guide users in defining requirements, advising on alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical team members and non-technical colleagues.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices to provide optimal solutions and safeguard government systems. Develop and sustain network architecture and design documentation, aiming for continuous improvement of systems architecture.

Engage with government representatives regarding network engineering considerations and associated challenges. Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables related to network engineering responsibilities. Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and propose solutions to guarantee efficient network operations. Lead the definition and execution of systems engineering activities within projects, providing a comprehensive overview of all aspects of network development from mission needs analysis to performance verification.


Requirements for Success:

Education:
Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience

Essential Skills:
Mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variances, and effectively manage large-scale, integrated projects. Review and approve systems engineering documentation to ensure processes and specifications meet system needs and are comprehensive and accurate. Establish formal procedures for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete interface coverage.

Capture all interface designs in a common format and store data in an accessible repository.

Clearance Level:

Required Certifications:
DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE)

Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract. IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent. Computing Environment:
MCSA Server 2016 (You can start with the first exam completed and must obtain the full MCSA Server 2016 within 180 days from start date.)

Desired Certifications:
MCSA 2016/2019/Azure, Linux+, VCP-DCV, etc.

Additional Information:
Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract. Position may require lifting of objects (i.e., IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e., plugging in cables), and other moderately strenuous activities. Travel may be required to support the mission.

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $154,211. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as it will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
