Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians, ensuring high standards of treatment and mentorship for staff and students.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, initiating appropriate physical therapy interventions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary and consulting with physicians when required.
- Perform detailed evaluations on each patient, ensuring timely quality improvement assessments. Focus on adult and geriatric populations requiring specialized rehabilitation services.
- Assess and manage patient pain levels to enhance participation in rehabilitation, making necessary interventions and physician contacts.
- Develop and maintain individualized plans of care for physical therapy, ensuring alignment with patient goals.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.Current BLS/CPR certification.
Salary range: $45 - $54 per hour. Compensation may vary based on specific circumstances.
