We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Biology Teacher to join our team at Envision Education. As a Biology Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. You will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to ensure students meet their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Biology lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology or a related field
  • Valid California Teaching Credential or out-of-state equivalent with ability to transfer
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations, particularly Black, African American, Latine/a/o/x, and immigrant families
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred

  • Competitive salary range of $62,424 - $100,604 dependent on experience and credentials
