Vast is dedicated to creating artificial gravity space stations that enable humanity to thrive in space. As a Senior Mission Assurance Engineer, you will contribute to this mission by developing and implementing risk management processes that ensure the success of our spaceflight applications.

Estimated Salary
$170,000 - $210,000 USD annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
Assess and communicate technical risks to executive leadership and external stakeholders, prioritize actions to burn down highest risks, and mentor the engineering organization on best practices for risk identification and management. Additionally, develop and implement risk processes across the organization, assess the risk landscape for potential trends, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements
A minimum of a B.S. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials engineering, mathematics, physics, or related technical discipline is required. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fluid schematics, and electrical circuit diagrams. Strong understanding of engineering principles, particularly in spaceflight applications, is also necessary.
