Job Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking a seasoned Construction Site Supervisor to manage a construction project for one of our key customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Program and troubleshoot BAS controls, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform quality control duties and communicate with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and material submittals.
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with contracted scope of work, site standards, and drawing/hardware/software/graphic interfaces.
  • Coordinate commissioning and validation activities with commissioning agents and site automation engineers.
  • Identify and address conflicts in construction progress and communicate with the project team for resolution.
  • Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite and ensure subcontractors correct all deficiencies identified by the project team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project/Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP, DBIA, or LEED certification preferred or ability to obtain within 3 years.
  • 3-5 years of construction management experience, with a focus on developing long-term relationships with customers.
  • High-level knowledge of commercial/contractual complexity, deal structure, and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence others.
  • Ability to work on multiple sites during the course of a week.
