Job Description

Role Summary:

Pensacola State College is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty members to teach Mathematics courses in various formats, including face-to-face, live online, and asynchronous online. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for instructing students, developing curricula, assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and maintaining College and department standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students in Mathematics courses, including college-level and college-preparatory courses
  • Develop and implement curricula that meet College and department standards
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field, or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics
  • Ability to use technology required for assigned courses
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check

Compensation:

Adjunct Faculty members will be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level:

  • Master's Degree: $34.00 per hour
  • Doctorate: $37.00 per hour
