Drafting Checker

Coreslab Structures (OKLA) Inc. is seeking a skilled Drafting Checker to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. As a key member of our drafting department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our precast concrete products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and check precast erection drawings and details to ensure compliance with contract documents and standards.
• Review precast piece tickets and fabrication material drawings to ensure compliance with production drawing standards.
• Effectively communicate erection drawing and production piece ticket markups to drafters.
• Analyze sales proposals, estimates, specifications, contract documents, and precast/prestress design calculations to ensure accuracy.
• Mentor inexperienced project drafters and provide performance feedback.
• Monitor and update the checking schedule as changes occur and report to the Drafting Supervisor.
• Provide weekly checking status reports to the Drafting Supervisor.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of structural and architectural precast & prestress drafting experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural & structural drawings with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers.
• Ability to use Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other D&E software.
