Hickory Mechanical Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our expanding operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our pipe fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute pipe fabrication projects
  • Select and operate various welding equipment and techniques to meet project requirements
  • Prepare and assemble pipe components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Align and secure pipe components for welding, using manual or semi-automatic equipment
  • Perform welding operations in different positions, adhering to safety standards and best practices
Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a pipefitter with a strong background in welding and pipe fabrication
  • Proficiency in various welding equipment and techniques, including manual and semi-automatic processes
  • Experience with electrical and manual tools, including angle grinders and other equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings, with a strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation
  • Professional certification in welding (e.g., AWS welding certificate) is a plus
  • Experience with pipe welding, including 6G certification, is highly desirable
