Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for performing pulmonary assessments, testing techniques, treatment, management, control, and care for infants, pediatrics, and young adults with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiorespiratory systems. This position will assess and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies, and provide consultation to other staff in the care of these clients.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, modify, and coordinate respiratory treatment plans
Evaluate equipment settings, make adjustments, and recommendations as needed
Complete diagnostic respiratory testing for clients at ACC
Work with nursing staff and physician to best meet the respiratory and overall needs of the individuals served
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
Current, unencumbered license from the State of North Dakota, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
1 year of respiratory therapy experience
BLS Certification
Valid drivers license
Preferred Skills and Abilities: 5 years Respiratory Therapy Experience, PALS Certification, and experience with respiratory equipment such as CPT, suction, pulse oximeters, ventilators, HFNC, heated/cool mists, cough assist, CPAP/Bilevel Oxygen analyzers, End tidal CO2 monitors, Bernoulli alarm system, concentrators, and nebulizers
